How can I apply to join the lab as a graduate student?
Prospective graduate students should apply through the University of Chicago's Chemistry Department graduate admissions. In your application, please mention your specific interest in the King Lab. Details about deadlines and application review are available on the Chemistry department website. We also consider students from the BioPhysics training program, the Physics Department and from PME.

Do you offer tours of your laboratory facilities?
Yes, we offer tours for prospective students, collaborators, and visiting researchers. Tours must be scheduled in advance by contacting Prof. Sarah King. Please note that some areas of the lab have restricted access due to ongoing sensitive experiments.
Are there opportunities for undergraduate research?
We welcome undergraduate students who are interested in research. Positions are typically available during the academic year and summer. Interested students should email their resume/CV and a brief statement of research interests to Prof. Sarah King.
